HOUSE LAYOUT

In the main (left) wing of the house you will find the kitchen, a large living room and a smaller lounge/sitting room at ground level. The square shaped kitchen has French windows and is very light. It’s equipped with a 5 ring gas hob, oven, microwave and dishwasher, 2 double sinks and 2 fridges. There is a wooden island in the centre and a utility room with an extra fridge and freezer. Stepping into the large drawingroom, you’ll find a dining table at the far end next to the kitchen.

In the centre of the long stretched space there is a fireplace with a sofa, armchairs and a coffee table placed around it. There is also a TV and a DVD player. At the other end there is a hallway with old wooden doors to the courtyard on one side and doors to the main terrace on the other side. The hall also gives access to the sitting room at the back of the wing: This smaller sitting room has a large corner sofa, cane wooden chairs, side tables and a beautiful fireplace with a mosaic mantepiece.

There are 3 bedrooms upstairs in this wing, above the living room: two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom. The upstairs bedrooms have great views towards the castle of Gaucín. The small wing at the far end of the courtyard has 2 double bedrooms and a sitting space in between them. These bedrooms have their own private terrace at the back of the house. 

The right wing houses the other 2 bedrooms: At the ground floor there is a small apartment with a kitchenette, living room with small desk and a large triple bedroom with a double and a single bed. The last bedroom is up the stairs and is a double bedroom. The stairs lead to a laundry room as well, with a washing machine and turbodrum dryer. Higher up the hill is the casita with 2 single beds, a kitchenette and an on suite bathroom.

OUTSIDE SPACE

There are numerous outside spaces around the house, such as the main terrace on the side of the house with several seating areas and a barbecue. Or the peaceful central ourtyard, where you are surrounded by many plants and flowers and can sit quietly in the shade.

However, most iconic for the villa is the pool area. The infinity swimming pool has a round end that offers an incredible view over the valley. There is an outdoor shower, fridge and sink, tables, chairs and umbrellas for shade as well as plenty of sunbeds to lie around the pool and relax and watch the mountains in the background.
