HOUSE LAYOUT

"Los Olivos" has a large well-proportioned sitting room, with three sets of French windows. Comfortable sofas and armchairs are arranged around the open fire accompanied by antiques, paintings and rugs. There is a good quality stereo system with Bose speakers. The dining table seats eight (and can be extended to twelve) with upholstered chairs. The kitchen has marble worktops, ceramic hob, oven, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer and fridge freezer.

The master bedroom has an inviting four-poster bed, fitted cupboards and an inlaid mother of pearl chest of drawers. The mosaic tiled bathroom is en suite and has a walk in shower. The other two bedrooms share a bathroom that also has mosaic tiling and a large walk in shower. The second bedroom has a double bed, wardrobe and writing desk whilst the third has twin beds fitted cupboards and a chest of drawers.

A further two people can be accommodated in the cottage known as the Casita, which is positioned on the other side of the driveway. It has a bedroom with two single beds that can be zipped and linked to create a king-size bed, a cosy sitting room, with the satellite television and video player and an open fire. The Casita also has its own small kitchen, bathroom and terrace for reading or sunbathing. This is an ideal combination for guests that require privacy for some members of the party. The Casita has hosted honeymoon couples, teenagers needing their own space and grandparents.

OUTSIDE SPACE

Outside the lush garden adjoins the large terrace that runs the full length of the house with an abundance of out door furniture. A small pathway leads to the pool area, which is bordered by ancient oak trees. The delightful swimming pool measures 15 x 7 meters, making it almost twice the size of an average pool.

For al fresco dining in the summer everyone can be seated at the long marble topped tables on the principal terrace with the scent of lavender and pomegranates there for the picking. The property has large grounds in which to walk with special views across to “Ronda La Vieja”, the ancient Roman settlement with its magnificent amphitheatre.
