VILLA FINCA DE LOS ANGELES

Finca De Los Angeles is quite a find. Tucked away in the countryside near the hilltop village of Jimena de La Frontera, this enchanting property offers a great opportunity to have a truly splendid holiday. The house is set out entirely on one floor with large sliding floor to ceiling windows that create that sought after indoor/outdoor space, ideal for enjoying the long summer in Southern Spain. Eclectic in style, functional in design with a fabulous garden for children.

From the house it is possible  to walk to some shops and bars near to the station of Jimena. The village itself is about five minutes in the car and the coast is about 25 minutes away.

HOUSE LAYOUT

The main living area is one very large space with two sitting areas and a dining area. The first is set around the open fire with light flooding in from an oblong window from which you can appreciate the garden and beyond. The furniture is solid, comfortable and classic. The second sitting room also has a sofa and chairs and is seamlessly joined to the expansive covered terrace immediately outside. There is a great deal of Kettal outdoor furniture from sunbeds to sofas to tables and chairs which can easily accommodate ten people. The dining area has a table and chairs for eight persons. The simple white walls have a series of landscapes that sit together sharing the blue palette of the Andalucian skies. The high ceilings give a tremendous sense of freedom to the house and wherever you choose to sit the effect is quite meditative. There is a music system and wi-fi.

The master bedroom has its own sitting room,  a large bathroom, with bath and walk in shower and its own terrace and access to the garden. It has a double bed from which there is a lovely view through the French windows. There are four more bedrooms and two more bathrooms with walk in showers and one with a bath. All have single beds but the largest can have the bed made up as a double if required. The bathrooms are all relatively recently fitted with glass partitions and heated towel rails. At the opposite end of the house there is a well fitted and equipped kitchen with a six ring gas stove and large oven, dishwasher and American style double door fridge/freezer. There is yet another door from the kitchen to another covered terrace.


OUTSIDE SPACE

From the terrace outside one looks down on the garden and pool area. The swimming pool is approximately 11 meters in length with roman steps into the water. There is a trampoline in the garden and football goal posts - a natural haven for children to play.
